Julia 1933

Who Is Julia? Julia was my mother-in-law, and a woman ahead of her time. Born on an Oklahoma farm in 1933, she left home at just 14 and eventually became one of Texas’s first female stockbrokers, despite an advanced education. 

Years later, Julia found a sense of home again here in the Texas Hill Country, spending summer evenings beneath the live oaks at Hummingbird Farms, sipping local wine and watching the hummingbirds dance.

Julia 1933 is our tribute to her: Spirited, elegant, beautifully independent, and unforgettable.
